Everything you need to know about Motopsy's services
A vehicle history report reveals critical information that sellers may not disclose — accident history, ownership transfers, pending loans, insurance claims, challan records, and more. It helps you avoid costly mistakes and gives you leverage to negotiate a fair price.
Anyone involved in a used car transaction. Buyers use it to verify a vehicle before purchase. Sellers use it to build trust with potential buyers. Dealers use it to validate inventory. Banks and NBFCs use it for loan evaluations.
No. Report generation is fully automated and system-generated — no human can alter the data. However, once downloaded as a PDF, it could theoretically be edited externally. That's why we recommend always viewing reports directly on the Motopsy platform for authenticity.
Most reports are generated within 30 seconds. In rare cases, it may take up to 2 minutes depending on data source response times. If there's a delay, the report will be emailed to you and will also be available in your account dashboard for 90 days.

Our reports are only as accurate as the data available in official databases. We pull from government and institutional sources, so the data reflects what has been officially recorded. We clearly indicate when data for a particular check is unavailable rather than guessing.
We support cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles registered in India. Our vehicle specifications database covers 12,000+ variants across all major manufacturers.

Book online, and our certified inspector visits the vehicle location at a time convenient for you. The inspection takes approximately 60-90 minutes. You'll receive a comprehensive digital report with photos, scores, and recommendations within a few hours.
Our 200+ point inspection covers engine health, transmission, chassis and structural integrity, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, paint thickness, interior condition, tyre health, and a complete test drive evaluation. You receive a detailed report with photos, defect ratings, and estimated repair costs.
New vehicles can have manufacturing defects, transit damage, or paint issues that are not visible to the untrained eye. Problems discovered after registration are much harder to get resolved with dealerships. A PDI catches these issues before you sign off on delivery.
A New Car PDI is a thorough inspection performed before you take delivery of a brand-new vehicle from the dealership. It covers paint thickness measurement, electrical diagnostics, OBD-II scan, underbody inspection, tyre checks, and panel alignment — ensuring your new car is defect-free.
Motopsy is 100% independent. We do not buy, sell, or trade vehicles. We do not work for any dealer or seller. Our reports are unbiased, data-driven, and our loyalty is solely to the buyer seeking the truth about a vehicle.
We aggregate data from government RTO databases (Vahan/Parivahan), NCRB records, insurance databases, OEM authorized service centers (Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra, and more), law enforcement records, and collision repair facilities. All sources are official and verified.
The report covers RTO registration details, ownership history, insurance status, loan/hypothecation status, challan records, blacklist and stolen vehicle checks, NCRB records, vehicle specifications, estimated resale value, and OEM service history (where available).
